Providing clear, actionable feedback helps your Creative Team move faster and deliver work that aligns closely with your goals. Here are the best practices to follow:
Watch the deliverable Looms
Looms include the reasoning behind creative ideas and decisions. Watching them first gives you essential context and helps you understand the “why” before you review the work.
Give detailed, specific feedback
Avoid general comments like “I like this one” or “Make it pop.” The more specific you are, the faster and more accurately the team can produce your desired outcome.
Examples:
“Let’s try making the title a bit bigger. I want the text to be the protagonist of this post”
“The photo feels too busy—can we explore something with no background?”
Break your review into elements
Analyzing the deliverable by parts can help you pinpoint what’s working and what isn’t. Consider giving feedback on: layout, images, fonts, icons, colors, etc. This makes it easier to express preferences and helps the team adjust precisely.
Leave comments directly on the Miro board
Use Miro comments or leave sticky notes for clarity and organization.
Don’t forget to tag your Creative Team Lead in a comment so they’re notified immediately. Without the tag, your feedback may be missed and could delay delivery.
